Central News Agency, Taipei, May 28. Actor Huang Di-yang, who rose to fame in 'Born for the Spotlight', is starring in a new drama directed by Yen Yi-wen. Yen praised him as the 'male version of Hsieh Ying-hsuan'. Huang expressed his gratitude but also confessed that he was so nervous acting opposite Joseph Chang that he forgot his lines. At today's press conference for 'The Wedding I Owe You', director Yen Yi-wen attended with stars Joseph Chang, Tarcy Su, Hsieh Ying-hsuan, Yao Chun-yao, and Huang Di-yang. Yen joked, 'To me, Ah-Di is the male version of Hsieh Ying-hsuan,' which made Hsieh laugh, 'Am I that amazing?' Huang shared that he couldn't sleep the night before his first day acting as Joseph Chang's brother, feeling that Chang was 'a man who walked out of a movie.' When filming started, he froze and forgot his lines. Regarding Yao Chun-yao's casting, Yen revealed that his look was inspired by Guan-You from the band Mayday. 'The Wedding I Owe You' premieres on June 20 on PTS and PTS+, with all episodes available on Netflix the same day.
