The New Taipei City Fire Department attended the Asian Fire Chiefs Association (IFCAA) conference held in Nagoya, Japan. The conference focused on "Preparation and Response to Large-Scale Disasters," bringing together representatives from Taiwan, Japan, the US, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Bahrain. The event highlighted the importance of international cooperation in the face of extreme weather and complex disasters. Participants also visited the "IG Arena" in Nagoya to observe firefighting vehicles and advanced rescue equipment, gaining insights into Japan's disaster response and safety management for large-scale events. Fire Chief Chen Chung-yue stated that New Taipei will continue to refine its policies by learning from international experiences.
