Czech Senate President to Visit Taiwan Again, Meeting President and Promoting Cultural Exchange

Czech Senate President Miloš Vystrčil will lead a delegation of approximately 40 people to Taiwan from June 1 to 4. During his visit, he will meet with President Lai Ching-te, Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim, and other government officials. The trip aims to promote cooperation in politics, trade, and culture. Key events include the unveiling of a "Havel Bench," the opening of a Czech language classroom at National Chengchi University, and the inauguration of the Czech Pavilion at the InnoVEX startup exhibition. The delegation includes representatives from the business, academic, and cultural sectors. Petr Jonák, a board member of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic, noted that Taiwan is a global engine for AI infrastructure and that the visit is a key opportunity for Czech firms to integrate into Taiwan's tech supply chain.
