Culture Minister Li Yuan Inspects Tainan National Museum of Art Preparatory Office, Urges Legalization

The preparatory office for the Tainan National Museum of Art was established last March. Minister of Culture Li Yuan visited the office today, expressing his hope that the museum will fulfill its role as a 'national-level art museum' and expedite the process of legalizing its organization and official launch. The museum will be based at the former Tainan Art Museum Building 2, focusing on modern and contemporary art. Li pointed out that upgrading hardware, deepening research and collections, and expanding staffing are key challenges ahead.
