Central News Agency (Taichung, 29th) Dissatisfied with comments made by a man surnamed He on social media, two men in Taichung, surnamed Chen and Lin, rode a motorcycle early this morning to splash paint on He's car before fleeing. Police tracked them down and arrested them, referring the case to the Taichung District Prosecutors Office on charges of intimidation and property damage. The Taichung City Police Department's Fourth Precinct stated that the Chun-She Police Station received a report of a car being splashed with paint on Zhongyong Road, Nantun District. Upon arrival, police found the exterior and interior of the car damaged by paint and immediately dispatched a forensics team to collect evidence while reviewing surveillance footage. Police identified the suspects and summoned Chen and Lin for questioning. Investigations revealed that the two were unhappy with He's online posts and, after tracking his location through social media updates, decided on the spur of the moment to commit the act. Following the police interrogation, the two were referred to the Taichung District Prosecutors Office for charges of intimidation and property damage under the Criminal Code of the Republic of China.
