Security Camera Near Fu Jen University Restroom Mistaken for Hidden Camera

Police were notified that a smoke detector near a restroom at Fu Jen Catholic University might contain a hidden camera. Upon investigation, it was confirmed to be a security camera installed by the school, located at the corner of the corridor outside the restroom, unable to capture the interior. The university stated the cameras were installed to prevent theft and voyeurism, and they will now post clear signs and consider replacing the devices with more visible models to address student concerns.
