CPC Corporation, Taiwan, announced today that in line with the government's price stability policy, prices for household LPG (bottled gas), industrial propane, butane, and mixed gases will remain unchanged starting at midnight on June 2.
CPC explained that due to the Middle East situation, LPG shipping costs have increased significantly, and import costs remain high. According to the pricing adjustment mechanism, a price increase of NT$2.8 per kilogram is required for June 115. However, to support the government's price stability policy, CPC will temporarily absorb this difference, keeping prices unchanged to alleviate the burden on households and the catering industry.
CPC stated it will continue to monitor international market dynamics and conduct rolling reviews. As of the end of April 115, the cumulative amount absorbed for LPG products is approximately NT$4.2 billion.
