74-year-old wanted man arrested by Tainan police for drug-impaired driving and wrong-way driving

According to the Tainan City Police Department's Sixth Precinct, a 74-year-old man surnamed Yen was wanted by the Tainan District Prosecutors Office for drug-related offenses. On the 29th, he was driving erratically, going the wrong way, and crossing double yellow lines in Tainan's South District when he was stopped by police. During the inspection, the man appeared nervous and attempted to evade capture by providing a false identity, but police identified him as a wanted drug offender. Saliva and urine tests showed positive results for heroin and amphetamines. After questioning, the police processed the case and transferred him to the Tainan District Prosecutors Office on charges of drug offenses and public endangerment.
