Central News Agency (Taipei, May 30) - Affected by Typhoon Jangmi, China Airlines and Starlux Airlines announced today that there will be changes to flights to and from Okinawa starting tomorrow, urging passengers to stay updated. According to the Central Weather Administration, the typhoon is moving north-northwest. Following Tigerair Taiwan's announcement, China Airlines and Starlux Airlines have also adjusted their schedules. China Airlines stated that flights between Taoyuan/Kaohsiung and Okinawa will be moved up. Starlux Airlines indicated it is adjusting flights between Taiwan, Okinawa, and Shimojishima from May 31 to June 2 and will arrange extra flights to assist passengers. Affected passengers can change or cancel tickets for free. Starlux noted that the Taichung-Okinawa flight on May 31 is canceled, with an extra flight arranged. Further cancellations and delays for June 1 and 2 were also announced. Passengers are advised to check the latest information on the airlines' websites or apps.
