Formosa Petrochemical to Freeze Gasoline and Diesel Prices Starting June 1

While the rise in international oil prices has slowed, the situation in the Middle East remains volatile. CPC Corporation Taiwan announced that gasoline and diesel prices will remain unchanged starting June 1 to reduce the impact on daily life and industrial operations. Formosa Petrochemical Corporation announced today that it will follow suit, with wholesale prices for gasoline and diesel remaining unchanged from 1:00 AM on June 1. Market retail prices will be determined by franchise gas stations. Starting at 1:00 AM on June 1, the reference retail prices for Formosa Petrochemical franchise stations will be 32.4 NTD per liter for 92 unleaded, 33.9 NTD for 95+ unleaded, 35.9 NTD for 98 unleaded, and 30.8 NTD for super diesel.
