With the impact of the US-Iran conflict fading and a rebound in capital markets in April, assets under management (AUM) for high-net-worth clients have risen. Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) statistics show that as of the end of April, the AUM of 21 domestic banks reached 2.5523 trillion NTD, an increase of 152.4 billion NTD in a single month. The number of high-net-worth clients reached 24,200, an increase of 994. Chang Chia-kuei, Deputy Director-General of the Banking Bureau, explained that the increase is due to more banks entering the market and improvements in talent and product design. Asset allocation consists of 43.5% in deposits, 16.8% in funds, 13.9% in bonds, 11.9% in insurance, and 7.5% in offshore structured products. Securities firms are also performing well, with SinoPac Securities, Cathay Securities, and Mega Securities leading the market.
