Chen admitted that pressure and bad luck led to an emotional release, acknowledging that throwing the bat was inappropriate. He jokingly mentioned he apologized to the bat, admitting he was too emotional. The Lions have been struggling recently, winning only 3 of their last 10 games. During yesterday's game against the Wei Chuan Dragons, Chen was seen talking to his bat in the 4th inning. In the 8th inning, he hit a sharp line drive that was caught for a double play, leading him to throw the bat in frustration. Chen explained that he was frustrated with his performance. He stated that while professional players face constant pressure, he realizes he should manage his emotions better in the future.
