Heavy rain alert for Kaohsiung and Pingtung; high heat warning for Tainan

Additionally, the weather bureau issued a high-temperature advisory for Tainan, where temperatures could exceed 36°C. As of 2:00 PM, Yujing District in Tainan recorded a high of 36°C.
