The '2026 Sustainable Kaohsiung: Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge' has selected its top 20 teams and completed pre-competition training. They will compete in the finals on June 15 for a total prize pool of NT$2.23 million, with the startup category winner receiving NT$1 million. Co-hosted by the Kaohsiung Youth Bureau and the ASE Environmental Sustainability Foundation, the competition selected the top 20 teams on May 6. To strengthen the teams' capabilities, the Youth Bureau held training sessions on May 23 and 30 at the 'K-TV Kaohsiung New Media Talent Development Center,' inviting industry experts to analyze financial data applications and intellectual property rights. Youth Bureau Director Lin Kai-hsuan expressed his expectation to see the participants focus on technology and practical applications. Wang Du-cun, CEO of the ASE Foundation, noted that the teams' ideas align well with ASE's sustainability philosophy. The finals will feature a panel of experts judging based on innovation, sustainability, and market potential.
