According to the Central News Agency, an Indonesian couple got into an argument at the Taipei Metro Zhuwei Station on the evening of the 1st. The husband threw his luggage onto the tracks, though no injuries occurred. The Taipei Metro Police quickly identified and apprehended the suspect within 30 minutes. He will be prosecuted for public endangerment. Taipei Metro stated that at 7:27 PM, as a train was approaching, the man threw his luggage, forcing an emergency stop. Operations resumed after safety checks. Taipei Metro emphasized that such acts are strictly prohibited and will face fines ranging from NT$10,000 to NT$1 million.
