TAIPEI, June 1 (CNA) - The Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW) has released a list of medical clinics penalized for illegal filming. As of May 26, 17 operators across Taipei, New Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung have been fined 500,000 TWD and ordered to suspend operations for six months. Following a series of scandals, the MOHW established four consensus points on May 13, strictly prohibiting the use of hidden recording devices. Deputy Director Liu Yu-ching stated that 1,090 facilities have been inspected, with 41 found in violation. The list of penalized clinics is now available on the MOHW's aesthetic medicine portal and will be updated every Wednesday. This special inspection focused on the installation of hidden cameras.
