The weather is hot, and a yellow light alert has been issued for Chiayi County, Tainan City, Kaohsiung City, and Hualien County during the day, warning of high temperatures above 36 degrees Celsius. As of 2:00 PM, Yujing and Nanhua districts in Tainan reached a high of 37.2 degrees. The areas under the yellow heat alert are Chiayi County, Tainan City, Kaohsiung City, and Hualien County. According to the weather administration's website, as of 2:00 PM today, temperatures in Nanhua and Yujing districts of Tainan reached 37.2 degrees, the highest recorded, while Chiayi, Kaohsiung, and Hualien also saw localized high temperatures exceeding 36 degrees.
