Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim accompanied Czech Senate President Miloš Vystrčil to Dadaocheng on June 1st to experience Taiwanese tea culture. The Vice President emphasized that Taiwan and the Czech Republic have continued to deepen economic and cultural exchanges in recent years and expressed hope for further cooperation with like-minded countries to protect democratic values and regional security. The Presidential Office stated that Hsiao highlighted the global popularity of Taiwan-made high-performance fabrics, noting their use by many national teams in this year's World Cup. Hsiao also reiterated President Lai Ching-te's belief that international cooperation is a key path to ensuring Taiwan's security, alongside a strong focus on defense procurement.
