Alishan Forest Railway signs sister railway agreement with Switzerland's Rhätische Bahn.

Taiwan's Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency announced that the Alishan Forest Railway has officially signed a sister railway agreement with Switzerland's Rhätische Bahn (RhB). This is the 11th sister railway partnership for Alishan, spanning six countries. The two parties will deepen cooperation in 'heritage management' and 'brand marketing' to enhance the international appeal of their mountain railways. RhB CEO Renato Fasciati expressed his enthusiasm for future collaboration on cruise-style trains and joint marketing initiatives.
