June TAIEX Futures Rise by 46 Points

Central News Agency, Taipei, June 2. The Taipei stock market closed at 45,557.31 points today, up 219.4 points. The June TAIEX Futures closed at 46,087 points, up 46 points, showing a positive basis of 529.69 points compared to the spot index. The Taiwan Futures Exchange set the opening reference prices for the nearest two-month index futures contracts at 46,041 points for June and 46,045 points for July. The total turnover of the Taipei stock market today was NT$1.607583 trillion. The June TAIEX Futures closed at 46,087 points with a volume of 73,443 contracts. The July futures closed at 46,105 points with a volume of 926 contracts. Actual closing prices are subject to the official announcement by the Taiwan Futures Exchange.
