(CNA, Taichung, 3rd) The National Library of Public Information (NLPI) is holding the '2026 Reading Home Run' campaign. From today until July 12, at NLPI and 40 public libraries in Taichung City, Changhua County, Nantou County, and Miaoli County, patrons who borrow 10 books and fill out a questionnaire can exchange them for a CTBC Brothers weekday home game ticket.

According to an NLPI press release, '2026 Reading Home Run' is a collaboration between NLPI and CTBC Bank, now in its 11th year. It uses a 'borrow books for tickets' model to combine reading with sports.

Director Ma Xiangping noted that NLPI has also created a new 'Digital Co-Creation Space PLUS' on the second floor of the library. It uses generative AI and interactive experiences to allow readers to learn about e-books through co-creation and experiences with AI, guiding them to engage with e-books through life topics for meaningful reading.

NLPI stated that the campaign runs from June 2 to July 12. The public can borrow 10 books or accumulate 10 points through the reading passbook system, fill out the campaign questionnaire and a reading reflection of at least 50 characters, and receive one voucher for a CTBC Brothers weekday home game ticket. During the campaign period from June 2 to August 30, readers who borrow books (physical or e-books) and complete the task will have a chance to win limited-edition baseball merchandise in a lottery.
