Lebanese state media reported that just hours after Israel and Lebanon agreed to a 'conditional ceasefire' following talks in Washington, Israel launched airstrikes on southern Lebanon again.

According to AFP, the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reported that multiple roads in southern Lebanon were attacked by drones, with at least one attack causing casualties.

The Israeli military stated that air raid sirens sounded in northern Israel early this morning. One incident involved a 'suspicious aerial target' which was dealt with, while another was later confirmed to be a false alarm.

Israel and Lebanon held a fourth round of talks yesterday, brokered by the United States. According to a joint statement issued after the talks, both sides agreed to a ceasefire, on the condition that the Iran-backed Hezbollah must implement a 'full ceasefire' and agree to the establishment of 'pilot zones.' These zones would be managed by the Lebanese regular army, which would be responsible for expelling Hezbollah and all other non-state armed groups.

Israeli far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir today harshly criticized the Israel-Lebanon agreement, calling it a 'grave mistake.'
