(Central News Agency, reporter Zeng Renkai, Taipei, 4th) Considering the high volatility of the stock market, Lite-On Technology announced today that it has applied to the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) to cancel two domestic unsecured convertible corporate bond issuance plans, with a total issuance face value of up to NT$12 billion.
Lite-On Technology explained that the cancellation of the bond issuance plan is mainly due to the recent high volatility of the stock market. To avoid a hasty issuance that could affect the interests of the company and its shareholders, it plans to apply to the competent authority for cancellation.
Lite-On Technology emphasized that after canceling the bond issuance plan, its capital needs will be met through its own funds or other methods, and this will have no significant impact on the company's finances or operations.
The two domestic unsecured convertible corporate bond issuance plans were approved by Lite-On Technology's board of directors at the end of October 2025. The first domestic unsecured convertible corporate bond had a total issuance face value limit of NT$4 billion, and the second had a limit of NT$8 billion. (Editor: Yang Lanxuan) 1150604
