As of 8 a.m. today, the cumulative rainfall was highest in the Annan District at 110mm, which also recorded the maximum hourly rainfall of 38mm. No major disasters have been reported.

According to the latest observations from the Tainan City Government Water Resources Bureau, from yesterday to 8 a.m. today, the highest cumulative rainfall was in the Annan District (110mm), followed by the Nanhua District (92mm) and the Cigu District (88.5mm). The maximum hourly rainfall was 38mm in the Annan District, followed by 35mm in the Guantian District and 32mm in the Nanhua District. The maximum 10-minute rainfall was 17.5mm in the Anping District, followed by 16mm in the Annan District and 11mm in the Nanhua District.

Eighteen pumping stations, including the Haiwei Liao E Pumping Station in Tainan, have been activated, with a total pumping volume of approximately 370,000 metric tons. Additionally, 493 pumps have been pre-deployed in areas prone to flooding, and 18 mobile units are on standby for emergency dispatch. Furthermore, 230,000 sandbags and 4,100 flood barriers have been prepared and distributed to district offices and communities for use as needed.

The Water Resources Bureau stated that the Tainan area will experience cloudy skies with brief showers or thunderstorms, with the main rainfall areas being the coast and some mountainous regions, where heavy rain and short-duration heavy rain are possible. The low pressure or tropical depression is expected to gradually move away tomorrow, but moisture will remain high, leading to cloudy to overcast skies with brief showers in the Tainan area.
