Lee Ssu-chuan stated he would drive industrial transformation based on the foundation laid by Mayor Hou Yu-ih. Su Chiao-hui expressed her hope to use tourism and marketing to create city highlights.

New Taipei City Mayor Hou Yu-ih and KMT mayoral candidate Lee Ssu-chuan appeared together at the Sanchong Yunlin Clan Association tonight, warmly greeting each other with arms around shoulders and hugs.

In his speech, Mayor Hou said that when Lee served as Deputy Mayor of New Taipei City, he was responsible for engineering and construction. In recent years, the Sanchong Metropolitan Park and the Bear Monkey Forest Park have attracted tourist crowds. The smart-building New Taipei City Second Administrative Center will be completed by the end of the year. He added that he would ask Lee to take over and complete the New Taipei City Library's Second Main Library (Sanchong Branch).

Yunlin County Magistrate Chang Li-shan, who was invited to attend, expressed her hope that the affection fellow townspeople have for Mayor Hou would be transferred to support the hardworking and experienced Lee Ssu-chuan.

Lee Ssu-chuan stated that if elected, he would build on Hou's foundation, continue to promote construction, and connect Taipei City's AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology production capacity to New Taipei City to drive industrial transformation.

DPP Legislator and New Taipei City mayoral candidate Su Chiao-hui was also invited. She went table-to-table with the new chairman, Lin Rong-ming, to greet and take photos with fellow townspeople. She noted that as many as 800,000 Yunlin natives live in New Taipei City, with the Sanchong District being their first settlement point, and thanked them for their active participation in public welfare.

Su Chiao-hui stated that Yunlin people who moved north to work hard, relying on their diligence and down-to-earth 'Yunlin Spirit,' have become leaders in various industries. She also expressed hope for the opportunity to work with everyone in the future, not only to inherit the foundation laid by previous city government teams but also to have an innovative vision through tourism and brand marketing.
