ELTA Technology Secures Taiwan Broadcast Rights for 2026 World Cup, Live from June 12

ELTA Technology announced today that ELTA TV has been selected as the exclusive broadcast agency for the Taiwan region for the fourth consecutive time. It will broadcast all 104 matches of the historically expanded 48-team tournament in full via ELTA.tv, ensuring fans do not miss any exciting match.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will take place from the early hours of June 12 to July 20 (Taiwan time). This edition expands to 48 teams, with matches spanning 39 days and totaling 104 games, setting a new record for scale. Top stars and national teams from around the world will gather in North America to compete for the world champion title across three host nations: the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

ELTA pointed out that it will broadcast all 104 matches of the 48 teams in full via ELTA.tv. It will also simultaneously license the complete matches to Chunghwa Telecom MOD and Hami Video Sports Pavilion, as well as broadcast selected matches on cable TV's EBC and wireless TV's TTV. Through these diverse platform services, more Taiwanese audiences can participate in this global football event. Additionally, ELTA.tv will establish a FIFA World Cup special zone, providing app instant replay, full VOD services, and Chinese/English bilingual interface switching functions.
