2026 Taiwan Michelin Guide Restaurant List to be Announced on July 21

(Central News Agency, reporter Yu Xiaohan, Taipei, 9th) Taiwan Michelin announced today that the complete restaurant list for this year's Taiwan Michelin Guide will be released on July 21.

Taiwan Michelin stated that the selection area for this year's Taiwan Michelin covers Taipei, Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung, New Taipei City, Hsinchu City, and Hsinchu County, with no new cities or counties added.

Regarding the Bib Gourmand selection, Taiwan Michelin said that this year's list will be announced a week before the ceremony, on July 14, via press releases, the official website, and app articles.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Michelin Guide's star rating system. Inspectors evaluate dining experiences based on five globally consistent criteria: quality of ingredients, mastery of flavor and cooking techniques, harmony of flavors, the personality of the cuisine, and consistency of the dining experience (across the entire menu and over time).
