(Central News Agency, reporter Wu Jiahao, Taipei, June 10) EMS manufacturer Pegatron, benefiting from simultaneous growth across its three major product lines—information, consumer electronics, and communication products—announced on Tuesday that its May consolidated revenue reached approximately NT$95.963 billion. This represents a 10.1% increase from April and a 12% increase year-on-year, setting a new monthly high for the year. Looking ahead to the second half of the year, Pegatron expects its server products to grow quarter by quarter.

Pegatron's cumulative consolidated revenue for the first five months of the year was NT$427.258 billion, a decrease of 7.3% compared to the same period last year.

Pegatron's notebook shipments in May were between 550,000 and 600,000 units, outperforming the 500,000 to 550,000 units shipped in April.

Pegatron told CNA that its May operations were driven by stronger momentum in information and consumer electronics products. Within the information products segment, growth was led by servers, while consumer electronics benefited from a pull-in effect from customer new product launches.

Looking to the second half of the year, Pegatron is optimistic about server growth quarter by quarter. The third quarter will enter the peak season for consumer electronics, and the fourth quarter will see the peak season for communication products, both of which are expected to boost the company's operational performance in the second half.
