June TAIEX Futures Fall 126 Points

(Central News Agency, Taipei, 11th) The Taipei stock market closed today at 43,149.46 points, down 76.08 points. June TAIEX futures settled at 43,241 points, a decrease of 126 points. Compared to the spot index, this represents a premium (contango) of 91.54 points.

The Taiwan Futures Exchange set the opening reference prices for the near two-month index futures contracts at 43,367 points for June futures and 43,410 points for July futures.

The Taiwan stock market closed at 43,149.46 points, down 76.08 points, with a trading volume of NT$1.257975 trillion.

June TAIEX futures settled at 43,241 points, down 126 points, with a volume of 98,624 contracts. July futures settled at 43,303 points, down 107 points, with a volume of 3,688 contracts. The actual closing prices are subject to the official announcement by the exchange.
