International Penghu Bay Swim: 2,550 Athletes to Compete Starting June 13

(Central News Agency, Penghu County, June 12) The "2026 PENGHU OCEANMAN International Penghu Bay Swim" will be held for two days starting June 13 at the Guanyinting waters. This year, for the first time, an international 10km group race has been added, with 2,550 swimmers from 23 countries participating to swim across one of the world's most beautiful bays.

Penghu County Deputy Magistrate Lin Jie-xing stated that the Penghu Bay Swim has entered its 24th year. By adding the word "International" this year, Penghu has become a stop on the international competition circuit, allowing swimmers from around the world to challenge themselves in Penghu and building Penghu into an international sports tourism city.

The International Penghu Bay Swim events over the two days of June 13 and 14 include the International 10km group, Challenge 2km group, Swim 5km group, Stand-Up Paddleboard 5km group, and a 500m experience group for children, individuals, and families.
