(CNA, by reporter Chen Chih-chung, Taipei, June 12) The College Entrance Examination Center (CEEC) stated today that registration for the 115th academic year's subject-specific test closes on June 16. Test-takers must go online between June 22 and 24 to confirm their registration information. Online applications are available for those requiring special accommodations for physical or mental disabilities or major illnesses.
The admissions season for the 115th academic year has entered its final stage, with the subject-specific test scheduled for July 11 and 12. In a press release today, the CEEC noted that registration ends on June 16. Candidates must complete registration and payment within the deadline as specified in the regulations to finalize the process, otherwise they will be unable to take the exam.
The CEEC also reminded candidates who have completed registration to confirm their details online between June 22 and 24. If they find discrepancies in their name, exam district, registered subjects, request for a non-air-conditioned room, or for reasons not attributable to the candidate, they can request corrections within the deadline.
Candidates applying for accommodations for disabilities and major illnesses, such as bringing assistive devices, using special answer sheets, or extending exam time, must apply online and submit relevant proof. Those who also registered for this year's General Scholastic Ability Test (GSAT) can apply to have their GSAT accommodations fully carried over, or they can submit new evidence or documentation of a new condition to change their service needs. Related information can be found on the CEEC website. (Editor: Kuan Chung-wei) 1150612
