June TAIEX Futures Rise 969 Points

(Central News Agency, Taipei, June 12) The Taipei stock market closed up 1019.58 points at 44,169.04 today. June TAIEX futures settled at 44,188 points, up 969 points, representing a premium of 18.96 points over the spot index.

The Taiwan Futures Exchange set the opening reference prices for the near-term index futures contracts at 43,219 points for June and 43,290 points for July.

The Taiwan stock market closed up 1019.58 points at 44,169.04 today, with a trading volume of NT$1.117645 trillion.

June TAIEX futures closed at 44,188 points, up 969 points, with a volume of 74,402 contracts. July futures closed at 44,314 points, up 1024 points, with a volume of 6,328 contracts. The actual closing price is subject to the announcement by the Taiwan Futures Exchange. 1150612
