(By Central News Agency reporter Chen Rong-chen, Taipei, June 15) Lin Hong-Dao, Chairman of the National Sports Training Center, has officially announced his resignation today. He pledged to continue being the strongest supporter of Taiwan's sports in the future.

After stepping down as President of the Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee, Lin Hong-Dao assumed the role of Chairman of the National Sports Training Center. However, due to his long-standing responsibilities in business management and public welfare affairs, his workload has become extremely heavy. After careful consideration, Lin decided to resign from the chairmanship of the National Sports Training Center.

In his statement, Lin pointed out that the National Sports Training Center bears the important mission of cultivating national competitive talent, and the chairman's role requires substantial time and energy. Out of respect for the responsibilities involved, and to avoid any negative impact on the center's operations and development due to his personal schedule, he decided to resign, allowing someone with more available time to take on the role.

Lin emphasized that stepping down does not mean leaving sports behind. His passion and support for Taiwan's sports remain unwavering. In the future, he will continue to support athlete development, sports talent cultivation, and various sports public welfare initiatives through corporate and foundation resources, remaining the most solid supporter of Taiwan's sports.
