June Taiwan Stock Index Futures Rise 1,363 Points

(Central News Agency, Taipei, June 15) The Taipei stock market closed up 1,227.95 points at 45,396.99 today. June Taiwan stock index futures (TX futures) ended at 45,580, rising 1,363 points. Compared to the spot market, the futures traded at a premium of 183.01 points.

The Taiwan Futures Exchange set the opening reference prices for the nearest two months' index futures contracts as follows: June futures at 44,217 points, and July futures at 44,330 points.

The Taipei stock market closed up 1,227.95 points at 45,396.99, with a total trading value of NT$1.063992 trillion.

June Taiwan stock index futures closed at 45,580, up 1,363 points, with 55,909 contracts traded. July futures closed at 45,817, up 1,487 points, with 9,563 contracts traded. Actual closing prices are subject to official announcements by the Taiwan Futures Exchange. 1150615
