The Taichung Branch of the Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency encourages visitors to explore Daxueshan, Baxianshan, Wuling National Forest Recreation Areas, and Dongshi Forestry Culture Park during the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival holiday. Daxueshan features iconic Taiwan cypress forests, where visitors can walk forest trails and enjoy the phytoncide-rich air of red cypress and Taiwan hinoki. Baxianshan is known for its lush greenery and surrounding streams, while Wuling is celebrated for its alpine landscapes, diverse ecosystems, and seasonal natural beauty. Dongshi Forestry Culture Park preserves rich forestry cultural assets, offering insights into Taiwan's forestry development history.

Visitors to these sites during the holiday can experience the healing power of forests and enjoy a refreshing natural environment. As a special promotion, those who 'like' the official pages will receive free sparkling water made from Cinnamomum osmophloeum, a native Taiwanese tree species.

Additionally, during the holiday,定点 ecological interpretation activities will be held at Daxueshan, Baxianshan National Forest Recreation Areas, and Dongshi Forestry Culture Park. Volunteers will guide visitors through forest ecology, local flora and fauna, and forestry cultural stories. Participants will receive limited-edition commemorative gifts.

The Dongshi Police Precinct in Taichung City anticipates a surge in traffic from returning travelers starting at 5 p.m. on June 18. To manage congestion to popular mountain destinations such as Shigang, Xinshe, and Dongshi, traffic control personnel will be deployed at key intersections from June 19 to 21, operating from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
