(CNA reporter Hong Su-jin, Taipei, June 18) Actress Gingle Wang portrays four split personalities in "The Silent Trial." To differentiate between the personalities, she took voice lessons and felt so drained that she needed several hours of zoning out at home to recover. Her pairing with Joseph Chang also gave Wang a new experience, praising him as a kind older brother.

Wang and Ethan Juan attended the press conference for the new drama "The Silent Trial" today. In the drama, Wang takes on one of the most complex roles of her acting career, portraying four different personality states consecutively. She specifically underwent voice acting training, hoping to establish the unique vitality of each character and personality through different vocal placements and tones. Wang admitted that such intense portrayals were difficult to detach from, stating, "When I got home, I would sit on the floor and stare blankly at my toes, soulless." Ethan Juan, standing nearby, also praised Wang for immersing herself in the role, saying she was truly excellent.

In addition to intense scenes with Ethan Juan, Wang also flew to Hokkaido, Japan, to collaborate with Joseph Chang, portraying a couple. Speaking about her interactions with Chang, Wang laughed and said, "Gingle Wang and Lee Mu are good friends, and Joseph Chang played father and daughter with Lee Mu. Gingle Wang and Joseph Chang are playing a couple, which feels a bit like a spider web." However, their on-screen chemistry was excellent, and Wang stated that Chang was a very kind older brother, "He didn't make me think of him playing Lee Mu's father." (Editor: Li Heng-shan) 1150618
