July TAIEX Futures Surge by 758 Points

(CNA, Taipei, 18th) The Taipei stock market closed up 587.81 points today, ending at 46465.2 points. The July TAIEX futures contract settled at 46769 points, a gain of 758 points. Compared to the spot market, this represents a positive spread of 303.8 points.

The Taiwan Futures Exchange had set the opening reference prices for the nearest two months of index futures contracts as follows: 46011 points for the July contract and 46249 points for the August contract.

The Taiwan stock market closed up 587.81 points today at 46465.2 points, with a total transaction value of NT$1.543924 trillion.

The July TAIEX futures contract settled at 46769 points, up 758 points, with a trading volume of 60,066 contracts.
