(CNA, Penghu County, June 22) The cruise ship 'Island Sky,' operated by Callidore Cruise Line, docked at Magong Port again today, embarking on a tour of Penghu. As the ship departs in the evening, passengers will watch fireworks at sea from the vessel. This marks the second visit of the cruise ship to Penghu this year.

The Magong Management Office of the Kaohsiung Branch of Taiwan International Ports Corporation stated that the 'Island Sky' (ISLAND SKY), operated by Callidore Cruise Line, departed from Taichung Port yesterday and berthed at Pier 1 of Magong Port early this morning. The ship will undertake a half-day tour of the main island before heading to Kaohsiung in the evening after enjoying the beautiful fireworks at sea. It will then proceed to Batan Island, Philippines.

The Port Corporation pointed out that the 'Island Sky' has a gross tonnage of 4,200 tons, a length of approximately 90.6 meters, and can carry 118 passengers. This is its second call at Magong Port, following its maiden voyage on April 6th this year, bringing international tourists.

The Port Corporation stated that Penghu is expected to welcome 5 cruise ships for 7 calls this year. So far, 4 calls have been made by the 'Amanda,' 'Star Pisces,' and 'Island Sky.' Upcoming calls include 'Star Pisces,' 'Odyssey,' and 'Ocean Fuji.' (Editor: Chang Ya-ching) 0622115
