(Central News Agency, reporter Wu Ruiqi, Taoyuan, June 22) The Taoyuan City Government's Agriculture Bureau stated today that LALA Mountain peaches have entered their peak production season. This year, the planting area is approximately 167 hectares, with an annual output exceeding 1,200 metric tons. The yield is comparable to previous years, and sales are steadily growing, refuting recent online claims of slow sales and price collapse.

The Agriculture Bureau issued a press release this afternoon stating that Fuxing District is an important peach production area in northern Taiwan. Benefiting from its high altitude and significant diurnal temperature variations, it cultivates high-quality peaches with delicate flesh, rich aroma, and high sweetness. The season runs from June to August. This year's output is comparable to previous years, with overall sales and production stable and strong buyer interest. Some sales channels are even experiencing shortages, making it the best time to enjoy fresh, sweet seasonal peaches.

The Agriculture Bureau said that to maintain the brand image of LALA Mountain peaches and protect consumer rights, the city government continues to guide the Fuxing District Farmers' Association in promoting brand marketing, quality management, and traceability systems. Exclusive gift boxes are printed with the "Tattooed Women Emblem" and a unique serial number, allowing consumers to trace the origin through the emblem and number to identify authentic LALA Mountain peaches.

Regarding recent messages circulating on some social media platforms about LALA Mountain peaches being abundant but experiencing slow sales and price collapse, the Agriculture Bureau has verified that these claims are inconsistent with the actual production and sales situation. The bureau has reported the matter to the Digital Development Administration's "Online Fraud Reporting and Inquiry Website." It urges the public to purchase through farmers' associations, local fruit farmers, and legitimate channels to protect their rights and to support local agricultural development with their actual actions.
