Penghu University of Science and Technology General Education Course Exhibition and Charity Sale to Donate Proceeds to Huimin Hospital

Penghu, June 23 (CNA) The "Penghu Waves - University Students' Cultural Dynamism" general education course joint exhibition at Penghu University of Science and Technology, which opened on the 22nd, features over 200 works in 12 categories on campus, showcasing the fruitful innovative achievements of teachers and students. A charity sale of cultural and creative products is also being held, with all proceeds to be donated to the Huimin Hospital building fund.

The "Penghu Waves - University Students' Cultural Dynamism" general education course joint exhibition at Penghu University of Science and Technology was opened yesterday by Vice President Hu Wuzhi, College of Liberal Arts Dean Zhong Yihui, and others. The exhibition, running until the 26th in the Teaching Building and Dream Incubator, displays over 200 works from 12 courses, making it the largest in scale to date. It showcases the university's cultural and creative achievements and recognizes students who participated in competitions such as the "Chrysanthemum Sunrise Literary Award" and the "Gender Micro-film Award."

Zhong Yihui stated that the "Penghu Waves - University Students' Cultural Dynamism" exhibition is the 7th annual exhibition organized by the General Education Center. All exhibited works are related to Penghu, demonstrating the students' dedication and their emotional connection to the land and ocean of Penghu, allowing students to accumulate rich memories during their four years of study in Penghu.

The General Education Center of Penghu University of Science and Technology stated that this year's exhibited works include those from 12 courses such as "Image Aesthetics," "Art and Creative Expression," "Penghu Lifestyle Aesthetics," "Cultural and Creative Industries and Cultural Product Design," "Modern Citizens and Social Practice," and "Songs and Eras." Over 200 works are on display, spanning literature, photography, design, gender studies, and interdisciplinary fields, each with its own creativity and richness.

The joint exhibition of general education courses at Penghu University of Science and Technology also features various cultural and creative products developed by Penghu's cultural and creative businesses and students, such as the "Ci Hang" cactus. A charity market sale event is being held in conjunction with the exhibition, with all proceeds to be donated to Penghu Huimin Hospital as a building fund, transmitting the spirit of public welfare through practical action.
