Taiwan Stock Index Futures Fall 992 Points in July

(CNA Taipei, 23rd) The Taiwan Stock Exchange closed down 640.86 points today at 47100.65 points. The July Taiwan Stock Index Futures closed at 47436 points, down 992 points, with a 335.35 point premium compared to the spot market.

The Taiwan Futures Exchange set the opening reference price for the futures contracts for the current and next month at 48428 points for the July contract and 48654 points for the August contract.

The Taiwan Stock Exchange closed down 640.86 points today at 47100.65 points, with a transaction volume of NT$1.600856 trillion.

The July Taiwan Stock Index Futures closed at 47436 points, down 992 points, with 78,351 contracts traded. The August futures closed at 47730 points, down 924 points, with 851 contracts traded. The actual closing prices are subject to the announcement by the Futures Exchange. 1150623
