(CNA reporter Su Chih-yu Taipei, June 24) The 2026 Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) All-Star Game will be held on July 18 and 19 at the Taipei Dome. Ticket pre-sales opened today and sold 68,000 tickets in one hour. The league will consider opening the upper bleacher sections.
CPBL All-Star Game tickets went on sale at 11 a.m. today. According to a league press release, the Platinum Zone sold out instantly after sales began, and the Hot Zone is also completely sold out. Other ticket types continue to sell briskly, and the two-day event is expected to attract 70,000 people to the Taipei Dome.
Last year's CPBL All-Star Game attracted 40,000 spectators over two days, setting a new box office record for the event. This year's initial sales did not include the upper bleachers of the Taipei Dome. To thank fans for their enthusiastic support, the league is considering opening these sections. Related information will be announced separately, and we look forward to more fans joining the fun. (Editor: Li Shu-hua) 0624115
