Taiwan Stock Market Index Futures Fall 1050 Points in July

(CNA Taipei, June 24) -- The Taiwan stock market closed down 1057.05 points today at 46043.6 points. The July Taiwan Stock Exchange Capitalization Weighted Stock Index futures closed at 46387 points, down 1050 points, with a premium of 343.4 points compared to the spot market.

The Taiwan Futures Exchange set the opening reference price for the index futures contracts for the next two months at 47437 points for the July contract and 47730 points for the August contract.

The Taiwan stock market closed down 1057.05 points today at 46043.6 points, with a transaction value of NT$1,453,618 million.

The July Taiwan Stock Exchange Capitalization Weighted Stock Index futures closed at 46387 points, down 1050 points, with 95,983 contracts traded; the August futures closed at 46654 points, down 1076 points, with 1044 contracts traded.
