Key News on Iran-US War

(CNA Tehran, June 28, Foreign News) Multiple Iranian media outlets reported that flights between Tehran and Dubai will resume on the 29th. Iran had launched drones and missiles attacking targets within the United Arab Emirates during the Middle East war, but flights between the two cities will resume just weeks later.

Agence France-Presse quoted Iran's state television and other media reports, stating that Ramin Kashefazar, director of Tehran's Imam Khomeini Airport, said, "The necessary arrangements to resume the Imam Khomeini Airport Tehran-Dubai route have been completed."

Tickets for a flight from Tehran to Dubai on Sepehran Airlines, departing at 10:40 AM on the 29th, are already available for purchase on the airline's website.

During the Middle East war, Dubai Airport was repeatedly forced to suspend flights due to continuous drone attacks. Dubai Airport, once the world's busiest international airport before the conflict, saw its passenger traffic drop by 66% compared to the same period last year during the conflict.

Iran retaliated against attacks by the United States and Israel by launching missiles and drones into the Persian Gulf region, but Iran claimed its targets were US assets, not civilian infrastructure.

Hostilities have paused since Iran and the US reached a ceasefire agreement in April, but frequent exchanges of fire still occurred during this period. Both sides are currently in a 60-day negotiation period, aiming to reach a lasting peace agreement. (Intern Translator: Hsieh Min-an / Editor: Chen Cheng-chien) 1150629
