The case is currently under investigation, and the bureau has urged the school to expedite the process and handle the matter according to the law based on the investigation's findings.

Media reports indicate that parents have complained that a junior high school soccer player, who represented Taiwan in international competitions, allegedly bullied a teammate. The school was accused of mishandling the situation and protecting the perpetrator. Other teammates who testified in support were allegedly threatened and retaliated against, leading to them failing to be admitted to a renowned high school soccer program despite high scores.

The Taichung City Government's Education Bureau stated that the school has initiated an investigation in accordance with the "Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of Campus Bullying." The case is currently under investigation, and the Education Bureau has urged the school to expedite the investigation, clarify the incident as soon as possible, and handle the matter according to the law based on the investigation's findings.

Regarding the controversy over the student's scores for admission to a certain high school's sports program, the Education Bureau pointed out that the school has processed the application from the student or their legal representative in accordance with regulations, completed the score registration and calculation verification, confirmed the accuracy of the scores, and provided the applicant with access to review their evaluation data as requested, thereby protecting the student's rights.

The Education Bureau emphasized its "zero tolerance" stance on campus bullying and will continue to promote a three-tiered prevention and control mechanism for campus safety, including awareness campaigns, individual case handling, and counseling follow-up.
