(Central News Agency, New York, June 29, Comprehensive Foreign News) Although the United States and Iran have reached a memorandum of understanding to extend the ceasefire and begin follow-up negotiations, the air raids last weekend have once again disrupted shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, highlighting the fragility of the US-Iran ceasefire. International oil prices have slightly rebounded today after falling to near pre-war levels last week.

According to Agence France-Presse, North Sea Brent crude oil futures rose 1.6% to $73.15 per barrel.
