Chen Po-kai Selected as Top Pick in CPBL Draft, Drafted by Fubon Guardians, Will Join Brother Chen Pin-hung

(CNA Taipei, June 29) The 2026 Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) draft was held today. The Fubon Guardians used their top pick to select Chen Po-kai, an 18-year-old shortstop from Daxi High School. He will now play on the same team as his brother, pitcher Chen Pin-hung.

Standing at 187 centimeters, Chen Po-kai possesses excellent physical attributes, outstanding power, and the ability to hit for extra bases. His defensive skills at shortstop, including reaction time and mobility, have earned him a high ceiling evaluation.
