July Taiwan Stock Futures Rise 1098 Points

(CNA Taipei, June 29) -- The Taiwan stock market closed up 428.14 points today at 44999.9 points. The July Taiwan Stock Futures closed at 45550 points, up 1098 points, with a premium of 550.1 points compared to the spot market.

The Taiwan Futures Exchange set the opening reference prices for the index futures contracts for the next two months as follows: July futures at 44452 points, and August futures at 44669 points.

The Taiwan stock market closed up 428.14 points today at 44999.9 points, with a transaction value of NT$997.514 billion.

The July Taiwan Stock Futures closed at 45550 points, up 1098 points, with 73,267 contracts traded. The August futures closed at 45803 points, up 1134 points, with 594 contracts traded. The actual closing prices are subject to the announcement by the Futures Exchange. 1150629
