(CNA Taipei, July 1) I-Chiang Technology announced today that its board of directors has approved the establishment of a Thai subsidiary through its Singaporean subsidiary, Aethertek (Singapore) Private Limited.

I-Chiang Technology stated that in response to the target products and customer base in Southeast Asia, it plans to establish a production base and build a cluster to gain a first-mover advantage and provide localized after-sales service and related solutions. The establishment of a Thai subsidiary is intended to enhance overall market competitiveness and penetration.

I-Chiang Technology announced that the board of directors has authorized the chairman of its Singaporean subsidiary to handle all matters related to the investment in establishing the Thai subsidiary within an investment limit of US$3 million.

I-Chiang Technology also announced today that it has acquired shares in its Singaporean subsidiary, Aethertek (Singapore) Private Limited, for a total transaction amount of US$5 million.

On March 4, I-Chiang Technology announced that its board of directors authorized the chairman to handle all matters related to the investment in establishing a Singaporean subsidiary within an investment limit of US$1 million. The Singaporean subsidiary completed its registration on March 26. I-Chiang Technology remitted US$1 million to the Singaporean subsidiary on April 30.

On April 10, I-Chiang Technology stated that the board of directors increased the aforementioned authorized amount to US$10 million, authorizing the chairman to handle matters at his discretion based on actual circumstances within this limit. I-Chiang Technology remitted US$4 million to the Singaporean subsidiary on May 26.
