Trump AI-Generated Video as Doctor Criticizes Celebrities for 'Trump Derangement Syndrome'

(CNA Washington, July 3, Comprehensive Foreign News) U.S. President Donald Trump recently released an artificial intelligence (AI) generated video on social media, in which Trump plays a doctor criticizing several heavyweight celebrities who disagree with him, claiming they suffer from so-called "blind Trump derangement syndrome."

According to Variety, a U.S. entertainment news media outlet, Trump uploaded an AI-generated video late on July 1st on his social media platform "Truth Social." Appearing as "Dr. Trump," he spoke in a tone mimicking a pharmaceutical advertisement, stating that he has "developed a treatment plan" for patients with "Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS)."

The video then showed fake testimonials from comedic actress Rosie O'Donnell, "The View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg, and veteran actor Robert De Niro, all claiming to suffer from TDS.

Even AI-generated Hollywood actress Julia Roberts, actor John Leguizamo, and actor Edward Norton became hypothetical TDS patients.

Trump seems to believe that TDS is an actual medical condition. He stated at a White House event in May, "I hear it's actually a disease."

In the video, a fake Robert De Niro said, "I had no idea how much this was affecting my life. My career opportunities have dwindled, I barely recognize myself. I really need help. I can't eat, I can't sleep, I'm constantly angry. I'm making everyone around me miserable."

An AI-generated Julia Roberts pointed out, "I feel like I've aged 20 years in the past two years," and said she was starting to worry about "her future."
